1. Can Lavender oil be used on skin particularly the face?
Absolutely YES. Virginic™ Lavender Oil is a charming yet versatile oil that has healing and anti-microbial properties. We always encourage to perform a patch test before applying directly on face. When irritation or allergic happens, please discontinue using the oil.
2. Is Lavender Oil hypoallergenic?
There is no defined methodology to test for allergic reactions in beauty or personal care products, nor does the FDA regulate the use of the term “hypoallergenic.” Consequently, we do not position our products as hypoallergenic. Similar to airborne and food allergies, topical allergies are unique to the individual. A product that may work beautifully for one person can irritate another. We always recommend doing a patch test prior to using any product. Here’s how: place a small amount on the inside of the wrist or inner thigh and look for a reaction. If any redness or irritation occurs, stop using the product immediately.
3. How is Lavender oil extracted?
Lavender Oil is produced using an extraction method known as steam distillation. It is extracted from the flowering tops. Steam distillation is a process that isolates the aromatic, volatile element of the plant with steam. This state of the art process produces the highest quality oil.

5. Where can I find the expiry date on your products?
We use a PAO (Period After Opening) symbol on our products which identifies the useful lifetime of a cosmetic product after its package has been opened for the first time. It depicts an open cosmetics pot and is used together with a written number of months or years. For example, if there is a symbol of an open jar with a number 12 inside it. That 12 indicates that you need to use the product within 12 months of opening.
